PRODUCTS

Yes. As a specialized seller, we sell only genuine products from authorized suppliers. Every product in our listing is 100% original.

It stands for Milliamps Hour. Milliamps Hour (mAh) is important because it is the easiest way to distinguish the strength or capacity of a battery. The higher the mAh, the longer the battery will last.

Yes. Always replace the battery or batteries in your equipment with the size and type specified by the manufacturer.

NiMH batteries nominally operate at 1.2 V per cell.

Yes. For most high drain electronic applications, NiMH batteries are ideal substitutes and you do not need to worry about the apparent voltage differences. In the case of a device like a radio, where a higher voltage can mean a stronger signal, a fresh alkaline battery may be a better option but more expensive than a rechargeable NiMH battery.

Charge 14–16h for the first time. To charge a NiMH battery you will need a specific charger as using the incorrect charging method can render your battery useless.

No. All rechargeable batteries can be charged in any charger.

The number of times a battery can be recharged depends on how the battery is used. Every time a rechargeable battery goes through a charge and discharge cycle it loses a tiny bit of capacity. A NiMH battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but whether that means 200 times or 800 times has a lot to do with how these are being used.

Yes. If the batteries are of the same type, then you can use a higher capacity (i.e. higher mAh) battery instead of the lower one. The reverse is also true. Using a higher mAh rated battery will allow the device to run longer on a charge.

Only batteries that are specifically labeled "rechargeable" should be recharged. Any attempt to recharge a non-rechargeable battery could result in rupture or leakage. Rechargeable batteries paired with one of our different chargers, can be recharged hundreds of times.

DO’S

✅ – Remove batteries from the device as soon as possible after they are depleted, preventing a battery leak.

✅ – Always use the correct size and type of a battery specified by the manufacturer of your device.

✅ – Store batteries in their original packaging, in a dry place, and at normal room temperature until ready to use.

✅ – Replace all used batteries at the same time and insert batteries properly, with the plus (+) and minus (–) terminals aligned correctly.

✅ – Insert batteries by placing the negative end in first, then push the battery down so the positive end clicks into place.

✅ – Keep all batteries or objects with batteries out of reach and secured away from children and pets.

✅ – Remove batteries from equipment while it is being powered by household alternating current (except for hardwired smoke alarms that use backup alkaline batteries).

DONT’S

❌ – Leave batteries in your device if you suspect it will not be used for several months. Many devices do not power off completely when switched off and, after time, may cause the batteries inside to leak.

❌ – Carry batteries loose in your pocket or purse as they may create a safety risk. They can be shorted by contact with metal objects and may leak, overheat, or rupture.

❌ – Mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types (for example heavy duty zinc chloride batteries and alkaline batteries) in the same device as this may cause the batteries to leak.

❌– Attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. This can cause your batteries to overheat or leak.

❌– Place your batteries in a refrigerator. This will not ‘recharge’ your batteries, increase storage life or your batteries’ power.

❌ – Put batteries or battery-powered devices in very warm places. Extreme temperatures reduce battery performance and may also lead to a leakage.

❌ – Remove the battery label, attempt to take the battery apart, or dispose of in a fire as this may lead to rupture and/or chemical burns.

Do not mix old and new batteries. Doing so will reduce overall performance and may cause battery leakage or rupture. We recommend replacing all batteries within a device.

Yes. Remove batteries from a device when it is not expected to be in use for several months.

If equipment must be used periodically in extreme temperatures, premium alkaline batteries are recommended.

Carefully follow instructions on your equipment regarding proper insertion of batteries, ensuring that the + (plus) and – (minus) terminals are aligned correctly.

The shelf life is counted by the discharge rate. The rate of self discharge for any battery depends on the temperature at which it is stored. Stored at 70 degrees °F (20 °C), NiMH batteries will lose up to 40% of their charge within a month. If they are stored at a higher temperature, they will self discharge at an even higher rate. NiMH batteries stored at a lower temperature self discharge at a lower rate.

Yes. Batteries can get warm during the charging but will cool quickly after the recharging. This is a normal occurrence and no cause for concern.
